Anyway, my school has started now. It is pretty boring. We had to do a first year experience class for collage. Very boring for an hour a day for two weeks. That's over now so its all good. My others classes are a math class online in a classroom, then I have my theatre class. Its kind of boring just because we went over most of the same stuff last year in high school. My final class in a revolutions in the modern world. Sounds very interesting but the teacher just lectures and talks. So that's it for school.
I saw 2 plays in the last month... month and a half. The first was 'Wicked' down in Seattle at the Paramount theatre and the second was a new play called 'Chasing Nicolette' at a theatre closer to where we live. Both were very good.
So I said I would go over our vacations this summer but I was busy and didn't feel like typing. Anyway here you go. First was our cruise to Alaska for my grandmothers 80th birthday. We were supposed to go last year but she had 2 strokes right before we were going to leave and she actually had to stay in the hospital for I think about a month. So we did it this year. It was a lot of fun. We were on the Island Princess ship. We saw whales and caught fish and saw eagles and stuff like that. Unfortunately the scenery in Alaska is very similar to Washington and it wasn't quiet as striking as it would have been for someone that lives in say Houston, TX. We did get to see Mt.Denali and a wolf while we were in Denali national park which was really cool. I'll post the picture of the Mountain later. The picture of the wolf in no that great because it was far away.
Our next vacation was to Hawaii. Technically Kauai. We stayed there for a week. Basically we ate, snorkeled, and hung out by the pool. We also grilled a couple times. That's really about it.
Then in September I went to Houston, TX to visit my other grandmother. I stayed for a week before going back. The flight there was really nice *First Class* but the flight coming back was really rough and bouncy. We didn't really do anything down in Houston. I did find an old picture of our house be that's about it. We also ate dinner several times at Chili's and at Luby's. On the Sunday after I got there we went to the Holocaust museum in downtown Houston. It was very interesting. They did a tour of all the artifacts which was supposed to take about a hour but it probably took about three. We decided just to look at the things on our own because the guy giving the tour was repeating most things over and over again.
Then later this week we will be going to Chicago to watch my dad run a couple miles of a marathon with some other people that work with him. That should be fun because I've never been to Chicago. Apparently we'll also be getting a tour of Northwestern University because my dad wants to give use one(he went there.
On another note character sheets will be up in the next couple of weeks. Our house has been cold and my hand apparently doesn't like to do anything when it is cold. Anyway that's about it.
